How do I get new site into programs?

I am just starrting to set up my website, and wanted to know how I can join affiliate, PPC and other programs. They all want to know the amount of traffic, CPM, etc. the site gets in a month.

How can a new (or soon to be) site with no history and no traffic information join one of these programs?

I would like to have products to sell to my visitors (assuming I actually get some), and start making money , when I first put the site on-line.

Is this possible, or do I have to have the site up & running for a time before I can join these programs?

All help will be appreciated.

Sorry I missed this, i don't check this forum often Anyway there are probably a few programs that will let you in even though your site is small and unproven. Probably your best bet is to signup at commission junction and see if you can pick some up there. The biggest problem is that if you are just starting your site it will take a while before all of the search engines kick in and even then it a constant battle to maintain any position that will be high enough to generate any sales for you.
If you have any money to invest in this venture you may well wish to consider Google AdWords as a quick way to generate some traffic to your products area, if you choose to go this route please do your reasearch as the AdWords system isn't without it's problems and drawbacks but it is one of the most effective available today for the commom webmaster
