Added a new rss feed here it links to the When Can I Use? site that keeps abreast of changes and updates to the HTML5 Spec and their support within the browsers
Just purchased "SVG Essentials" by J.Eisenburg (O'Reilly) seems a good read so far. Looking at purchasing "Pro HTML5 Programming: Powerful APIs for Richer Internet Application Development" (APress) by Peter Lubbers (Author), Brian Albers (Author), Frank Salim (Author) ; not sure about that one yet though.
Article 3 is out: HTML5 and Canvas I did say they were basic didn't I?
