Hello my team and I finished developing our site a week ago. I would like some opinions on it.
Please check out the site here:
http://library.thinkquest.org/C005960
I would like to thank everyone here who helped give me some advice on our team's site here at the message board.
P.S. on my team's site, I would greatly appreciate it if people could post some positive comments about the site on the forum of our site. We need user interactivity in order to make the site stand out more. So remember to post your comments on the site's forum too!
Thanks.

Your site looks great :) Did you enter it in the contest after all? It looks very organized and the news scroller adds a nice touch to your site except the links don't work on it.

Yeah, I did enter the contest. The news scroll does work except for the links are timed wrong. I'm not really going to worry about that mainly because it's really there for effect. It's great that you enjoyed the site, amberbot.

I love your site especially your logo, but a couple of things you might want to do is...
1. Move your your menubar down right after the 2HIGH TECH logo
2. and move your buttons up a tad (I am talking about the buttons that are to the left side of your page). It looks like you made an indent for where the buttons belong, but where the indent starts and the buttonss start, the buttons don't look centered. Now don't get me wrong, I love what you did as far as design goes, but it just doesn't look centered.
Now here are my questions...
1. was the menubar created with javascript and is it hard or lengthy to do? (just currious cause I was thinking about doing that and I wanted to know.)
2. same questions as quwstion #1 but with the scrolling text. How is that done and is it lengthy to do ect. ect. ect.

Yeah, unfortunately I can't make any more modifications to the site since the contest deadline was over a week ago. I guess the judges are beginning to view all of the contestants in the contests. I'm currently trying to think of a new design to use in case I want to re-enter the site again next year in case the site doesn't make it into the finals. Any suggestions, I'm aiming for a high-tech look.
...the script for the pull-down menu can be found at http://www.dynamicdrive.com

Did you see the post I left on your forum? So you are going to enter the contest next year? Well that is plenty of time to start learning flash. Nothing can beat a great flash intro or menu. I just downloaded the trial version and it's great b/c it includes a few lessons. I can't say it is easy but it's fun to work with it. Keep us updated on your work. :)

The site is already entered for the contest this year. I'm just developing new ideas for a new site to do next year and updating the current site for the future.
