Grrr, school starts monday (I guess tomorrow since it's Sunday here), and it really stinks. What's the use of school...I don't learn anything useful :D
All right, some maybe school is good, but from my point of view it *****.
This is the reason I haven't been on the forum much today - because I have to get ready for school and finish my Summer assignments (particulary a journal on the stupidest book in the world, The Scarlet Letter). THe book is really awful. My fav. books/short stories is the Nick Adams stories by Hemingway, but The Scarlet Letter is not my favorite :)
Well, I move my sister into college tomorrow before starting my sophmore year (atleast I can drive). I might be busy for the next few days getting situated and finishing my procrastinated work :)
Adog
P.S.-I have to wake up in 3 hours to go move my sister in :(
God, I REALLY HATE SCHOOL :(

Hi Adog,
Sounds like your haveing a bad day.. Well not to worry when you finish school you get to start all over again at a job and insted of doing it for 4 yrs you get to do it for 40yrs so there is something to look forward to... ;)

Gee aDog,
Does this mean I've got to spend more time of the board again? :)
Think of this way: you've got a ten-month vacation coming up. Besides, I heard a real cute poodle just moved into your school district :) I could be barking up the wrong tree, though.
Besides, what do you think all this experience on the board was? Playing? -- School, me boy, school. You learned, right? You taught, right?
Now as Cais implied: quit whinning and start howling -- the foxes are coming. :)

Hehe, that was the whole point of this topic...to whine :)
Hopefully, I'll get a cool job with something I like. See, I think learning's ok...I SORT OF like learning. But I hate learning stuff that I find boring. THis forum, I love...I learn tons helping other people and getting help :D
Hopefully, I will get a g/f  ... moving my sister in to college, there were a lot of hot ones (a bit too old, though), and hopefully, I'll get one just as cute :D
Hopefully, I'll have some time tomorrow to actually answer questions instead of whining ;)
Well, I'll probably get to bed in a little bit.
Later,
Adog
P.S.-And I was just catching up to Vincent (sort of...lol)

So how was your first day as a sophmore? I hope it was fine :) I will be going to school next week so I'm also feeling a bit anxious!

What's a sophmore? I thought it was some sort of musical instrument...

School doesn't give students just about ANY choice of what they would like to learn about, or HOW they would like to learn it. In fact, it's gotten so bad, that every time someone mentions the word "learn", people instantly think of "memorize". Just look at all those "memory-enhancer" things on the market, and "mind-maps" and whatever other method of memorizing things. Memorizing is NOT the same as learning! School is about MEMORIZING, not LEARNING anything useful (hey, apart from basic reading and writing, but they even manage to make that so awfully boring most kids hate learning about it).
School gives learning a bad name.
