Can anyone see anything wrong with this insert statement? I keep getting syntax error message.

SQLstr = "INSERT INTO tblQuestions(Question,AreaID) VALUES('" & question & "'," & areaID & ")"

I am using an Access database and an .asp page

Thanks.

If you write the SQL statement to your web page, instead of trying to execute it, what does the statement produce? Does the statement look as you expect?

If can appears as expected, can you describe the types of the Question and AreaID fields in the database and also post the created SQL statement.
