I have a question about this forum.

Service providers both free & paid may post there offers here.

One of my host companies sold out to interland and the performance and service has bottomed out ever since. I would like to describe what happened and what results I've experienced, but it seems inappropriate to do that according to the description.

Would this be allowed? I tend to feel yes it should be, otherwise the forum is little more than a free indexing service for server hosts with little chance to validate their claims before getting suckered in to a costly plan.

Related to this, I just visited page resource and what did I see? A huge banner for interland. It is my opinion that any computer related advertising would seem to have the endorsement of this site. In this case, a poor company is feeding off the strength of page resources and by extension, this forum. I do not endorse interland in any way whatsoever. If this forum is to serve as a promotional base for that company then I'm afraid I would have to discontinue patronizing this site. I cannot allow interland to parasitize my efforts. I do not work for free, and I will not contribute to interland's income for nothing, and I most certainly will not be a party to misleading unsuspecting visitors to take up hosting with them.

Morning Phineus,

yes this forum MAY be used to describe experiences either good or bad, we feel it is a service to our members for these opinions to be posted so that they may make better informed decisions about a particular host. We only ask that 1. Your post follow the guidelines regarding use of bad language & 2 that your post be as factual as possible so as to help other members make an informed decision.. Other than that Rant away :)
As for the ad on Page Resource, at this point webxpertz have no direct affiliation (we own no portion of the company/site) with Johns site and thereby have no influence over the ad company’s he does business with, you should either contact John directly or (and I will anyway) I will leave a note for him in the admin forum to check in on this thread.
