Is there any way to install MySQL on the Xitami server? I thought it already had it, but was wrong. Is it a download somewhere? Thanks :D !

For continued disscussion on this topic : MySQL for a server Lurker 05-11-2003, 06:34 PM Is there any way to install MySQL on the Xitami server? I thought it already had it, but was wrong. Is it a download somewhere? Thanks :D ! d0t 05-11-2003, 06:41 PM www.mysql.org basicly, you dont install it on a server, but it is a server on its own, you dont need to change anything in your webserver. Lurker 05-11-2003, 06:45 PM Well, the Xitami server is a localhost server....how do i install it? Ulaire Smiley 05-11-2003, 07:12 PM Hello, Download PHP and MySQL, and just follow the README directions. Those should do it. :D Actually, I think once you install MySQL, it pretty much adapts to whatever server you're running. They're basically two different servers, and they contact each other for information, but it doesn't really matter what server you use. MySQL runs just fine on localhost servers, and it should work on Xitami, although I haven't tried it yet. I run PWS, just because I couldn't get Apache working. :p - minëa vBulletin® v3.6.4, Copyright ©2000-2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
